How cold do you let your home get while you are sleeping?

I try to keep the house between 64 and 66 degrees at all times...plenty warm for me. The lady of the house likes things slightly warmer (100 degrees), but due to the costs involved I generally win.
I leave my hot air furnace thermostat on 58 degrees so that incase the stove cuts out in the night the furnance can keep things warm enough until I get the pellet stove going again.

Yup...60 is what is set on the thermostat upstairs. The oil burner has been kicking in as I am not really attempting to get good overnight burns. By the time I'm going to bed, the coals in the stove are pretty deep and throwing alot of heat so I just let them burn overnight on low. If needed, I throw a couple of logs on when I get up to take the chill out of the first floor.

I keep mine at around 66-67 because it takes way too much time and enery to get the house back up to comfortable if it gets down lower than 65.

Down to 60° 2 hours after bedtime
Up to 65° in the morning for showers
Down to 50° while the house is empty - cat and dog have fur so if they don't like it they can get a real job (dropping dead mice on the doorstep doesn't count)

65 at night 70 during the day when someone is home (most of the time)..wondering how much of that heat (from oil) will be offset by the pellet stove when it comes...I'm guessing about 40%
I keep my pellet stoves humming. I love a house around 70+ degrees. I do however like a window cracked open in the bedroom at night. I didnt like doing that when I was running the oil furnace, but I do with the pellet stoves. Fresh air and still a warm house. I have not turned on one zone of heating yet this year from the furnace, but it runs for hot water. I am going to install one of those instant hot water units on propane.

Must keep my thermostat on 70, wife wants it on 72, anything less than that and I am in for a real cold treatment. So far, not a real concern. The furnace only comes on for a few minutes about twice daily.

Oil furnace at 60 until 5AM then it goes to 65 for 1 hr. Stove set to 65 at night on lowest setting. If the stove can't keep 60 then oil will kick in. Stove set to 80 for the remainder of the day if there are people in the house - otherwise 60 is the best the dogs will get.

I have my pellet stove in the great room (room over 2 stall garage) and that goes up to 68-70° when they kids are hanging out in their PJ's.
Even with the thermostat set that low, I burned 1.5 ton of pellets and 800 gallons of oil last year to heat. Had I set the temp to 70° the oil guy's kids would be going to Harvard on me!

The last 2 years we set the furnace at 54 for backup, but it's going up this year. I used less than an eighth of a tank in those 2 years and our delivery company refused to deliver this year unless they could inspect the the tank first. I'm thinking I'll try 62.
I keep it approx. low 60's but 17 years of marriage has given me time to learn that I have nothing to do with this decision so I choose to just drink another beer.
