anybody ever change an auger motor on a pel-pro freestanding stove? Any problems? Any suggestions? Where can I find a motor only from pel pro?

Instructions would be great. I just put direct power to the motor all I got was a buzz sound no auger movement. I got the stove pulled out I would like to pull motor off and give it dirct power and try to move the auger manually.( Just to make sure there is no jam).

NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND!! I PULLED THE AUGER MOTOR MADE SURE THE AUGER TURNED FREELY. PUT DIRECT POWER TO THE MOTOR GOT JUST A LITTLE HUM. TOOK MOTOR ALL APART CLEANED UP EVERYTHING GOT ALL THE GEARS TURNING AND LUBED. pUT IT BACK TOGETHER AND POOF IT WORKED. PUT IT BACK ON STOVE AND AUGER HAS BEEN WORKING FOR OVER TWO HOURS. SO FOR NOW I CAN KEEP MY $120 BUCKS.
