no, just the usual cleaning.
My Astoria doesn't require a "major" cleaning until 2 tons, or yearly...whatever comes first. I've gone through almost a ton too, so i figure a big cleaning sometime at the end of Dec. probably (I'll pull the blowers then). Does your owners manual list any kind of cleaning schedule? If so, follow that.
My Astoria manual DOES state " the more often the stove is cleaned, the more efficient it will run".
Make sure the stove is ready tonight...it's going to be COLD in SE New York (22 degrees).....brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. At least we're not in Minnesota.....I saw 1 degree there this morning on the weather site. YIKES! :gulp:

Same here and I've been running it virtually continuously since the beginning of Oct, with a 2500+ sqft house.

I started burning mid-october. When I'm home, I usually have it on the highest setting. When I'm not home or sleeping, I have it on lowest setting.
Currently about 15 bags shy of a ton.

Yep 1 ton here gone... Hey if your a pellet pig and you have 4-5 tons on hand and you use 2.5 tons do you get thrown out of the club????. inquiring minds want to know. onk oynk...

I think "a stove" is the answer there, we burn more than one stove.

well I only have one stove and through 83 bags so far or just over 1 1/2 tonnes.... 1800 sq ft and we have not used the furnace this year yet and its been cold up here....
