Stainless Tubing Source...

This year, I freshened up the 'plumbing' of an improvised supplementary air supply in an older stove. I used copper tube and fittings which are very easy to work with... but the copper oxidizes readily and the tube tends to clog with oxidized flakes.

Does anyone here know of a source for stainless steel tubing and fittings that I might use to replace the copper?

I'm sure I could work with something else, but stainless that effectively duplicates the copper plumbing fittings would be the easiest to work with.

To be honest, pics wouldn't be of much value here. Basically, I've just installed a tube that continues to admit some (minimally) preheated air to the firebox when the manual stove drafts are closed. I like being able to run the stove to a certain temp, then close the drafts completely, but without supplementary air, that can lead to other problems... like smoldering... and/or occasional backpuffing when enough air leaks in (from imperfectly sealed stove seams) to ignite the wood gas. In a sense, I'm redirecting air that might otherwise enter the stove from seam leaks to the supplementary intake instead.

Keep in mind this is NOT an EPA stove I'm working with, but a non-airtight antique... so I feel relatively free to experiment with modifications that I *think* might be beneficial.
