Leyden blower question

I have a new Leydon and whenever I try to change the blower settings to the highest or lowest I do not notice any change in the noise of the fan or the blower output. Another words it seems to be at the same speed all the time. I think the lights go up or down 1 level on the side but its really hard to tell where it is set at.

Should there be a very noticable change in the blower out put and noise of the blower from low to high?
How many blower speeds does the Lyden have?
