Jimbob, why not post the article instead of the thread? Then people don't have to register on their site to read it.

At least give a hint as to what it is all about.

I got in and read the article without registering .... I don't know why.

The article is about the accelerating sales of coal-burning home stoves.

Unfortunately now that the ppb is down the change will dwindle. i think that in lieu of a massive new clean power source that diversification will be key. If a certain percentage of the population all took to one alternative or another it would be a good start.

I got in just fine without registering.

and it's about burning coal.

That guy lives right down the road a bit from me. Coal is going well and strong in PA.
With his set up though, hes got to be getting a fair amount of coal dust around the house.

It sounds like part of the agenda of the new Administration's EPA leadership team will be to ban the use of coal, at least dirty coal. We'll see if Congress goes along with this agenda since coal is one fuel that is readily available here in this country. I also worry that they may try to ban the use of wood burning appliances by individuals. At a minimum, I think you may see a nation-wide ban on the use of non-EPA approved stoves. It shouldn't take long to see how radical their agenda will be since I think the new Administration's plan is to get multiple legislative packages to Congress ASAP.

I don't know what all you are seeing, but I get right through to the web page about burning coal. I have tried it on two different computers. XP & Vista. Works every time for my with just a mouse click.
