Yesterdays haul - Do I know my wood?

Went a for a walk on the back nine looking for wind blown trees. Found quite a few, cut about 2 cord in the past 2 weekends.
All the leaves were gone, and I'm going to try and keep better tabs on next years wood. I think I have them pegged as
(in order of pictures) Ash, Oak and Maple. What think ye? PS...do not base anything on the ground leaves....splits were moved.

Well fry my hide you're only a couple hundred miles away and there's no snow on the ground there? Sucks to be me...nice wood Matt.

That's what they look like to me. Might be Silver Maple on the bottom. Looks like you have a log for every season.
2nd that silver maple on the bottom other looks like ash!
 
Definately ash and maple ! The second does not look like oak to me,is the wood heavy. Split one open. Almost looks like poplar ?

OK. I thought I took another picture of the middle stuff before splitting. Guess it could be ash. Is kinda white

Yep white ash,unless the heartwood centers are green and black. Then its Poplar.
