Quad Santa Fe

Not sure what to say. But if you want to double your money please frieght ship it to me.

Did you get the pipe also? I paid around 2,500 for mine last spring.

Have put a ton and a half of pellets through it trying to figure it out. After two nights of five degree weather a call to my stove dealer was neccessary. He would have rather sold me the next size up stove but after about an hour of discussion he told me that
the stove can be adjusted to burn over 10 percent. I pulled the control board and moved the only adjustment from 6 to 7 and
gained from 100 to 150 degrees more heat output from the thing.

It is now doing what it should.

Yea you stole the thing.

For your investment I would have one of these in every room in my house.

I will be picking my Santa Fe up in 1 week. I hear they are a good stove. I paid $2000 for it. I think I'd rather pay $600 for a 2 year old stove than $2000 for a new one. Either way,we both will have one. I'm hoping to build the hearth on Monday. I went to buy the bricks today at the local dealer. They were closed for inventory and will reopen on Monday. I'm doing the hearth and the installation myself. I hope I do it right.

If you can spend more please go for the larger out put stove. The sante fe is a nice stove to 650 bucks but quite a disapointment spending anything more. If your stuck with a Santa Fe that is not pushing out the heat then pmail me and I can show you how to overfire the stove by ten percent.

However if you can spend the extra money up front for a larger output Quad then DO IT.

I would suggest spending a bit more for two stove setups from Home Depot or Lowes than spending the money for one Quad Sante Fe.

I am not saying the Sante Fe is not a nice stove and a safe product. Quadra Fire makes a very safe and dependable stove that anyone can pour pellets into and heat there home. That is the problem for me.

The stove has a very high air fuel ratio that makes the stove safe for everyone to use. It will shut down before causing an insurance claim.

I like the stove. Mine did not begin to meet the specdifications until it moved the control from 6 to 7.

I have a small home. Approx 1100 sq ft. I don't need anything bigger. I have an oil furnace,a karoseane monitor and now a wood pellet stove. 3 sources of heat isn't a bad thing. I will use the one that is going to be cheaper to use. I am excited to use the wood pellet stove. When I have been outside in the snow and wind(I'm a mailman). I am looking forward to sitting in front of the fire with my dogs,just relaxing AHHHHHHHH !

Raven20, make sure you give the stove a VERY GOD full cleaning. Removing all the baffles and cleaning all the loose ash out from everywhere. I would be suspect of a used stove, its possible the previous owners never cleaned it.
