my wife recently bought at a yard sale a used Fisher wood stove,how do I tell what model it is & how old it is ..there is a # stamped on the rear of the stove #2050 is it a seriel # or model # or build date code etc.. any info would help

do you load your stove up after it is burning real good shut it down at night and the same when you go to work. i have a damper on the back that i turn all the way down and screw in the front closed also.
