Why not just load the sealed pallet of pellets in the back of your truck???

I bought a full pallet but only took 30 bags. I can't lift anything with my right arm since I've got a new shoulder (two weeks since surgery) and I didn't want to have to unload that much product at one time. When I got home my wife and I unloaded about five bags to keep the stove going. One of my boys came over the next day to unload the remaining bags.

I'll pick-up the balance of my order in three or four weeks.

Funny, I thought harman was having stove supply problems..... see quite a few there!!!!!! Nice to see a well stocked dealer!

my dealer also, they've been great so far. we have it made in the midwest always stoves and pellets on hand and resonably priced.

I bet that store does 1 hell of a business. My mom and pop shop here is just a hole in the wall and they are always packed !How do those Eureka pellets do compared to other brands

Nice shop....Looks like they have a good variety
of stoves out on the floor for people to touch and feel.
I would stop in if I lived closer ;-)

I've been using Uncle Jed's (a pine pellet) since I bought the stove.

Last year I did use a few other brands to try something different. I would rate the Eureka's as cleaner than the Uncle Jed's... about 25% less ash. I was satisfied with the ash on the UJ's so this is a bonus. I'd also say the heat is a little better with the fir Eureka's... a very good pellet.

just looked at thier website... nice phooshopping of thier picture of the store... thier pic looks like the store is set in a beautiful sunset field. in actuality, from your pics it looks like it is in quite an urban setting! not that it matters. just funny

I see you are burning Eureka pellets now. I have 1 ton to pick up at Earth Sense yet and am going to upgrade. I have been burning Uncle Jeds and Heartland. I picked up a couple bags of Eureka last time I was there and they do burn (in my opinion) MUCH cleaner than jeds or heartland.

I have had alot of problems with my XXV and I now have another auger gearmotor that is getting very noisey (gear noise). That will be the fifth auger motor since the stove was new (Oct. 08). Earth Sense has been very attentive in addressing the problem with Harman and hopefully Harman will spec out a better gearmotor soon.

All in all, I have to say that Earth Sense is a good dealer.................

Boy, you'd think a good dealer like that would want to promote on Hearth.com!

When I sold stoves, we used to have as many as 400 units in stock - that was when I had two locations. It was closer to 250 including floor models when I had one...heck, you end up having 60 floor models, and with all those colors, options, etc it didn't take long to get up to a couple hundred.

A dealer like this could easily move 100-150 stoves in a busy month, so you can see how the demand can outstrip supply real quickly if the manufacturers are not constantly shipping! That, I guess, is what happened earlier this year.

kooser this place is excellent. They pulled my father out of a jam with a new piece of glass for his Quadra Fire insert. They were the only dealer in the area he found with a piece in stock. This is a great place for equipment and the service is excellent. I didnt buy my stove there because i didnt know they existed but will buy all parts and assecories there. GREAT PLACE GREAT SERVICE and it is kind of neat to walk around and look.

not many wisconsinites here, mostly new englanders

Cool shop. They're probably plenty busy without advertising.

Don't they deliver pellets? Seems like a major pita to
shlep just 20 or 30 bags at a time if you can get a ton
or two delivered then have your boy come over and stack them
assuming you have a dry place to stack.

This was the case here in Northern NJ. There is only one Harmon Dealer in my county and the next dealer close to me is 85 miles. I ordered my stove Accentra Insert the 1st week of Sept. It Just came a little under 3 weeks ago.In Sept the dealer told me he could close the rest of the winter becuse he has no stoves to sell and Harmon was out till the end of Jan for delivery. I was luck he got a cancellation and I got mine sooner I wasnt sheduled for delivery until the 1st week of Feb.
He said he sold all his stock wood and pellet 254 stoves from April - Sept.not counting orders of 150 more.He is just there on the weekends now selling pellets for a crazy $338 a ton for Hammer Hot Ones and trucks are lined up every weekend to get there share.
Just off topic have you or anyone else here burned Big Heat ? I just picked up 10 bags to try and 10 bags of Lignetics

My experience with this stealer has not been as pleasant as others outline

I guess there always has to be one voice of dissension

Ill take that spot quietly now. No one likes to hear a sob story.

Harman got caught up when fuel came down again and the market slowed down even more.

It's in a small town (800 pop?) next to a rail siding...

No dealer is perfect. I thought long and hard about buying from them because they DO use a lot of braggadocio and hype when advertising their products. I bought a used stove from them and they knocked $50.oo off the price 'cuz I paid cash, stored it for me for two months, ran it thru their "burn shop" to make sure it was running properly, warranteed parts for one year and gave me 20 bags of pellets to get me started.

When my stove plugged with ash after two months, the service guy cleaned the stove with his leafblower and got me going again. Not cheap but the service was excellent.

They DO deliver but right now I don't have space for the pellets... I'm not allowed to do any lifting and my shop is jammed with "stuff". I usually store 30 bags inside my home and 30 bags on a mobile cart. I need to get my forklift running again...
