The motor for our Biomax 60 blower burned out recently, and we received a replacement motor with a smaller fan to avoid another burnout. Since the fan replacement, we've been having trouble getting good gasification. Boiler temps hover in the 160 range-- only occasionally making it to 180. Has anyone else had this problem? We've tried opening the primaries to 5/8" and the secondaries to 1/4", set the smaller fan --by controller-- to 100% (big fan worked well at 80%) and adjusted the shutter to 1/2". So far that hasn't helped much. Our wood quality hasn't changed; we were cycling nicely in the 180 range before the blower problem. We'd be grateful for any suggestions.
