Hi,

Is it an easy job? Do you need any special tools? I did change the covention blower and it wasn't too bad. I have a free standing unit.
thanks for the help.

Steve

I have never worked on one but if its like the SantaFe the only problem is its a groan to get to. You probably just need some mini socket wrenches. Order a new gasket with the fan. The old gasket will probably decintigrate when you remove it.

no special tools needed. It is on the left side behind the lower cowl. Very accessable, unlike a Santa-fe or Castile

Hi guys,

Thanks for the replies. I went out and bought a new combustion blower. I brought it home and opened the box and found out that the dealer had already opened this box and seperated the unit and the gasket was missing and the screws were loose and all over the place. I was so mad I took it back and ordered one from another place. I've had some issues with this dealer before but this did it never going back there again. I put the old one back on its noisy but its still going. I should have the new one this week.

What makes the Sante Fe "such a groan?" I'm thinking about the Sante Fe & have looked at the manual, & it seem everything is accessable. Please explain as specifically as you can...I don't want to go in without my eyes wide open!!

Thanks, Alan
