Cold turkey(s)

Nice pics. I saw one the other day, first time since fall. We usually have a few flocks of 20 or so walk through our back yard in the spring - we abut power lines, so there's lots of wildlife in there. The only problem is my bassett hound like to roll in their turds. Yuck!

Thems females.

I had one hen for a year call my front yard <<home.
Would attack me when I came out the front door.
Runt, must have been ostracized from the flock or something.
Neighbors started calling it <my turkey.

It disappeared about the same time I had a pair of coyotes wandering thru.

There are flocks to the west and north of me, but they don't come thru here.

I saw a lone male last Summer out on a path in the woods , but never again.

Most people around here consider them annoying because of the fertilizer mess they can make, same as geese that don't leave.

My backyard is overrun with turkeys . Atlantic County NJ . I also now have 2 coyotes in my yard .
But the best thing I have seen so far is a redtail hawk swoop down and grab the accross the street s rooster .
