My guess is no, but i'm far from an expert on the subject. I'm sure it depends on how many floors are you trying to heat and how open your floor plan is.

The general consensus is any uninsulated basement walls will suck most of the heat that's coming out of the stove...

A P68 is spot heat not a furnace. If that is what you want, get the PF100. You will be much happier.
