I just purchase 2 ton of nature's heat [pennington].got them home.called my two grandson's to come over and unload them.found 5 bag's frozen like a rock some of the other the bag's where frozen together. the other ton is still on trailer cover with two tarp's.e-mail pennington two day's later they reply.told me to return to store.which i have done with the frozen one's.told the store i have no idea what i might fine with rest of them.the store just got them in the same day i pick them up.I did notice that there cover bag that they cover the ton of pellet's with before they wrap only came down about a foot. the instant heat pellet go's down to botton and then are wrap. now i started to burn these nature heat i'm getting clinker never had THEM before and it is in both of my stove's.any idea way????? THANK YOU FOR ANY INFOR jim

THEY REPLACE THE BAG'S I TOOK IN THAT WHERE FROZEN.TOLD ME IF I RAN INTO ANY MORE PROBLEM TO BRING THEM BACK .AS I OPEN THEM.I HAVE TWO 25-PDV ONE IN COTTAGE ONE IN HOUSE.
 
id just take it a bag at a time, unless you sorted through them, and weeded out any bad ones.
 
Im burning natures heat. Very rare for me to get a clinker.
 
THANK YOU FOR COME BACK.I HAVE NEVER HAD A CLINKER IN any one of the two stove untill now.lot's of fine ash and clinker.just trying to find out what there is about these nature's heat pellet's.thank again. JIM
 
Every batch of pellets is different, so it's not surprising that you have a difference in these pellets, even though they are the same brand. It sounds like you know how to get the bad bags replaced, so that's good. Clinkers happen, not much you can do about it, except keep your burnpot scraped well.
 
not sure what kind of stove you have

but give it more air, i have had to open the damper all the way on junk pellets
 
It's a englander 25-pdv.no damper burn air setting 1 to 9 it is on 9 .thanks for come back. JIM
