Whitfield Advantage Auger motor not working

I have 1996 Whitfield Advantage pellet stove. The auger motor turns 4 or 5 times and then quits. The light on the control panel still blinks but auger motor does not turn. I've have pulled out tht auger and made sure it was free. No problem there, I also jumped the low limit switch. This did not help. Can someone please help. My gutt feeling is that the motor is shot.
