Has anyone ever burn these before?

I have not found those to be available in this area, (central Me) but did look them up. They are listed as made in America and are hardwood. I have been burning Energex soft wood pellets from Canada. My experience is positive and I would burn these again. Very good heat output. Very few fines so no sifting. Has ash but only a couple of pails full from nearly 4 tons.
I am saving the ash to use on my garden plants to keep the slugs off. Should also be valuable to sweeten the soil which tends to be on the acid side here.

Yes I have just finished off a few this past week. I have burned them intermittently for a few years now. They produce decent heat. On a whole, compared to what I have burned, I would say they are decent middle to upper tier pellet so to speak. They have always been consistent in size and color from the various times I have purchased.

Burned about 3/4 ton of these this year. I have no complaints.

I purchased 6 bags last fall and 6 bags of the softwood from Canada. I found both to be a good pellet. But they do not compare to the Hamers, Barefoot and Turmans. But all in all they were exceptable. I ran them in my BigE and wasn't totally pleased with the heat output. But overall they had just some ash and only had to scrape the pot every third day. IMO the softwood was a little better in the heat output.

If I was in a pinch they would be in my pellet stash. I will try to find more and try again in my Omega. I was able to score a ton of the softwood for $240/ton. If I could get the hardwood for about the same price I buy them.

Overall score for me was.

Heat=good

fines/dust= just a little

ash=low

I would purchase again.

Yes, I burned about 20 bags last year, and a few this year. I picked them up at Courtland Hardware because they didn't have Lignetics at the time. If you look at the pellets they are smaller then the Lignetics. When I burn them in my Quadra Fire Castille, I have to turn the feed rate down some because of the amount of pellets the auger drops per turn, compared to the larger Lignetics pellets.

They put out plenty of heat, and I didn't notice any excessive ash or clinkers. I prefer the Lignetics, but I would not hesitate to get these if I had to again.

Just make sure you decrease your feed rate a little to compensate for the smaller pellet size.
