Do I have the best wife ever! Today she moved, with the help of John Deere, then expertly stacked over 4 cord of wood.
I told her that she should get a reward, so she suggested a trip to Tractor Supply women's dept!

Does it get any better! The best wife, a wood-burner guy could ever have.

Man..does your wife have any lonely sisters? No,really?Does she?

Way to go, girl friend !!

Get her on the forum !!!! :)

Titan,

She does have a sister, but she is married and takes care of 8 horses, 5 dogs, a cat and a husband, while working a full time job!

Thanks!

Valhalla, you and the bil are lucky men....I'm ecstatic if the princess moves a split from the wood hoop to the stove.Enjoy!

My wife tells me about the other things that I'm not doing while I'm stacking wood.

I come in from stacking the wood by myself to make my own lunch, only to see a honey-do list on the fridge.

Do husbands ever make honeydoo lists for their wives or is it just their aversion to writing? I know, I know...blessed is the peace maker...

I might have been able to get my wife to help stack wood before we got married. Seems marriage creates an aversion to all kinds of wood!
HAHAHAHAHAHA

I'm getting married in June. I guess I better enjoy the next 3 months to the fullest.

Seeing me stack wood seems to inspire my wife to add to the enormous list of chores, tasks and projects that a team of 10 men could not accomplish in a lifetime.

This proves that women and men have their priorities. We just need to keep them in order.

I think I spit water across my entire office with this one. Way too funny........way too true.

Well, my wife will make a fire if I'm not around.........after I've brought the wood in...............IF she gets chilly enough.................UNLESS she knows I'll be home soon. Guess who does it then? WOOHOO! I win the boobie prize. Oh wait, ....no, I don't. DOH!
We have a system. I do most of the work, and she enjoys the fruits of my labors.

Really though, she's not lazy, we just have different priorities.

She was standing over your shoulder....wasn't she?

Well after cleaning the kitchen, cooking, homeschooling the 6 yr old, doing the laundry, a half hour of pilates, an hour to walk, daily devotions, changing and feeding the baby, vacuuming, moping, cleaning the bathroom, keeping the 4 yr old from killing the baby, keeping the baby from hurting herself, making sure the 6yr old does the dishes, and all the fun stuff with me every night, I don't think she would have time for my honeydoo list.
