The wind has been cranking here all day.
I used to think of windsurfing but these days I'm thinking that my wood's drying and I may have some firewood trees on the ground. LOL
 
haha, the other night the wind was ripping, I was outside on the porch while the dog did his thing, and I heard a tree come cracking down. In years past I might have said, "aww crap, now I have to clean up that mess" or "I hope that didn't hit anything"..

this time I actually got really excited "ooh, firewood!"

I never did find that tree....
 
It's an ill wind that doesn't blow somebody some good.
 
Look what the wind brought me in my own backyard! Just waiting for the rain to stop before get out there with the chainsaw. Lucky this landed 40ft from my house and not on my house.

I noticed a 1/2 cord of recently split oak missing.
The wind blew the stack over last night.
I know better, though. 7 feet high betwen wiggly soft pine trees generally doesn't work.
