Where is it? I saw it listed on Lopi's tax credit list rated at 83%, but no picture or info on their site. Is this a new Lopi stove?

There are no specs out on this unit just yet, however it will be a new product offered as an insert.Apparently lopi has decided to make a "cast Iron" insert. It may have been featured at the Reno show (not certain) Craig may have more detail (by specs I mean size and such)
The Lopi Walden will be out this Summer. It is based on the Declaration Flush wood insert, but is an inch or too less deep and features wheel casters to allow easy install and service. Easy access flue attachment too.

From what I have been told;;Lopi is pretty good at keeping the goods quiet until ready to launch for public sale. I`m surprised you were able to get the specs, for i`ve not been able to find them as of yesterday. I`d be interested in trying it,,we`ll see. Speaking with local dealers they all feel that the Leydon" model was truly ingenious and the cats meow..Any input on that stove?
Talked to a local dealer today and he called Lopi and they told him they are still tweeking some things on the Walden and they are hoping to get it ready by fall. Also said price should be about the same as the Declaration, maybe a little more due to the cast iron surround.
As far as the Leyden, I've heard good things and bad things. I remember when they first came out they were spouting 17 hr burn times, but later cut it back to 12, and I've heard it's more like 8-10. All these down draft type stoves seem a little draft sensitive and need a good setup and dry wood for good results.

I've been dragging my feet on an insert waiting for the Walden. Does anyone have an update? Can't wait much longer or it will be cold before I install it.
