Supposed to get down to around 30 here- veggies covered and stove cranking!

here, too, a frost warning... just fired up the summit.. it'll be like summer inside.

I'm at work, but my wife has a fire going.

Fired up the stove here too. Hoping it will be the last fire of the season.

They're not calling for any frost here and I haven't made a fire in a few days now.

I should be with a low of 36. But it ain't gonna happen! The employees of the electric company's kids have to eat too.

Burning up some old pallet wood here in NJ.

I knew this was going to happen, and did not plant tomatoes yet..
Don't think I can make it until after memorial day though..

Ya get a longer, cheaper burn if you put some wood in there with'em.

good one :)

-4c and had a fire here this morning. +16c and lots of solar gain this afternoon. It wont get dark here till 10:40 or so. Maybe another fire in the am before I go to work. 2 to 3 feet of ice on the lakes though and the trees are budding. Taking care of the fire wood stash at the moment until the ice is gone. Then a fishin I will go.

Frost warning for tonight, so we're enjoying and little oak and maple at the moment. ;-) Any excuse to burn!

30 projected here in "Icey Hollow" tonight.

Murph & I brought some wood in, and the stoves going. It will go all night.

Brought my fluffy basket of double wave petunias inside, too.

Dang it. You folks have me thinking about heading out to the wood pile.

Intrepid II on duty keeping me warm in NJ -frost warning tonight.

Got home at 8:30, family under blankets in LR. "Start the stove DAD!".
I'm not complaining.

Murph is 9 months old, he EATS the petunias :bug:

I brought 'em in anyways. *grumble, grumble*

Low last 2 nights was in the 60's, so no fires in almost a month.

same here. Shorts weather. I've been staring at my woodpiles a lot, and occasionally thunking them with a finger. Probably ought to sweep the chimney...
