Push in on the door panel cover and look behind the handle there will be a clip on it holding it on. Use a pair of needlenose plyers and grab the round end and puil.

Wow. They are still available with window cranks? Must be about as low as you can go on the option line.

I think they are just about all phased out - thank goodness. My mother recently got a new Honda Civic and COULD NOT get manual window ans door locks. She had to get power windows and power locks with the key fob thingy...again, thank god...

It's like the dark ages. Our bottom of the line 2000 F250 work truck with the 5.4 V8 has vinyl floor, manual locks, and crank windows but it has AC. Of course it is white in color.

ac is a must have if you have vinyl seats. the sweat usally will make you slip of if you hit the breaks hard.

Or break wind hard :)

Like an air hockey table.

I actually rather like the vinyl seats. I find the feel similar to leather. My current truck has cloth and I am always worried about staining it with tree sap or grease. The smooth surfaced vinyl/leather was really easy to clean.

Has anyone replaced their carpet with a vinyl floor? My guess is that it would be a royal pain in the a$$ but would make the truck smell a whole lot better and be easier to clean.

Don't know if it is the same or not, but way back when, my first car was a 1965 Ford Fairlaine station wagon, and to get the crank handles off there was a special tool you used, it was a flat peice with a notch in the end that you slid between the crank and the door panel and pushed in order to pop the clip off (To put the handle back on you put the clip in the crank and pushed it onto the shaft, then hit it w/ a mallet to snap the clip over the end of the shaft and into the groove) I think I got it at a NAPA store off one of those "special tool" racks they have for all the wierd tools...

I'd probably ask at the local body shop if all else fails...
