Does TSC ever have this on sale? They current want 1099 and they will not give any discout unless it is on sale, but every store I called does not know when it will be on sale or if it ever will be. Has anyone ever seen this on sale? I've tried to wheel n' deal, but they wont budge.

I think I've seen some say that if you sign up for their credit card you get 10% off. If so, sign up, buy the splitter, then get rid of the card.

The promo they have now is 7.99% for 48 mos.

They also are not having any sales until August. I guess they are not hurting for bussiness.

You can get the 10% off on the Troy Built unit at Lowes just about anytime....this get's you a Honda motor and a little more punch, factory filled with fluid for $160 more.....

$160 more than what price, the $1100 advertised price or the $899 some people are paying at TSC?

I am not sure if I like the piston floating in the air on one end of the 27 tom troy built. I know they are saving money on manufacturing and shipping but I wonder will it stand up to the test of time ?

Sign up online at tsc, they will send you a 10% coupon and some of the store managers will let you use it in store. I bought mine at fleet farm and signed up for a credit card and 6 months free financing. Got 10% off. Did not know about the free financing until check out...was ready to write a check but figured heck, split it up and keep the cash in the till! :cheese:
