Feeling the Heat

We've been in the 50°Fs last few nights. Around dusk I smell a fire with a slight corn smell, almost like someone is making tortillas on a smokey fire.

Not really cold enough to run a stove IMHO, but my guess is someone near me eagerly running their corn pellet stove.

What do you think?

Also has a hint of cat urine and fresh dog doo when mixed 50/50 with wood pellets in my case. I smelled no corn.

Smells like burnt popcorn when we burn corn in the showroom Mt Vernon AE.

Burns like crap and just as expensive as pellets... bleh.

I was thinking more like Redenbaker without the butter :)

Neighbor once said he smelled "Burnt Toast" in the area and wondered where it came from :)

And corn burns just fine - more economically than pellets in an appliance designed to burn corn

But if you don't buy corn ready to burn or condition it so it will burn well --- ????
