Hello,
I forgot to ask while I was at the dealer today, but should I use super unleaded in my MS250?

Thanks!

stihl says 91 or higher I use the 93

I just use regular. 87 octane.

91, no ethanol for me.

High test, 40:1 and Stihl oil to boot.

I do. And why not? I cut 10+ cord per year and didn't burn 5 gallons.

Go for the highest octane available from the pumps. I noticed a little more grunt. I also throw a bit of stabil in my mix sometimes is sits a bit, ( I try not for that to happen).

Dolmar, Pull-on saws and Echo trimmers all get the same mix - 93 (or highest available) from a "big name" station mixed 50-1 w/ a good quality chainsaw oil, lately I've been using the Echo synthetic mix. I only buy oils with the stabilizer mixed in with it, if I couldn't get those, I'd run a bit of Sta-Bil as well...
