Im curious... what are the different methods of getting an insulated flex liner up onto a 2nd story roof where I have access to the top of the chimney I will be putting the liner into.

I drug 25 ft of insulated liner up 2 stories on my own via ladder, not sure what pitch my roof is but it isn't fun, especially fun is pulling out the 25 ft uninsulated liner, then taking it down, insulating it, then dragging it back up all on your own.
Im having a friend come over tomorrow morning to assist me in getting this thing up on the roof.
25' of flex liner is not too heavy... but once I got it insulated it is pretty heavy right now and not nearly as flexiable. Im glad that I decided to get someone to help me out on the roof, it sounds like a two person job.
Mellow -- How do you like your FlameXTD 1.5? I am installing a Drolet Escape 1400i that looks to be a sister insert to the Flame one that you have. Im just curious how it is working for you. How much wood does it use per day? What is the heat output like? How long of a burn time can you get? Sorry for the run of questions there, but im very anxious to find out how this Drolet is going to work for me. Im trying to heat a 1200sq.ft. 2 story house with mine this winter.

I wish I could tell you how it works, just installed it in August, done my break in fires and that is it. We will both be finding out how they do this winter.

We are definatly in shoulder burning season here (near Madison WI). Just a small fire to take the chill off. Usually by early November we are burning pretty regularly, then by mid-November it is full time burning.
