One chilly night I was getting tried trying to scrub the old grease off of fifty plus year old frying pans.A thought came to me to burn it off so I put the two pans in the Blaze King and started a fire.Got the fire going real good shut it down and let it burn down. After the pans cooled down I noticed the cruddy grease build up was gone. After washing the ash off the pans they looked brand new. Now I can pass these on to the next generation.

Lol. that was totally bizzare.

I'm thinkning of replacing my old Dutchwest Fed airtight and found this topic. What an odd review!

I liked it! Totally lazy dish washing!

wow this is a good idea! wonder if it will work on car parts :)

Nope...car-parts have to go in the dishwasher. :coolsmirk:

already doing that one.

Still better than washing dishes in the car.

In the "olden days", actually I was there for it on the farm, that is how you cleaned the crap off of cast iron cookin utensils. You built a fire outside and tossed them in it and burned the stuff off of them.

Grandpa did it every year. While I sat and watched.

I usta clean my house w/a leaf blower and a grain shovel, the 'cook it clean" theory rates w/me.

your grandpa is wise BB.

You know wha? we could totally live in comfort without all this extra technology.

A very smart guy once tole me "THE MORE I KNOW THE LESS I NEED"

That should be a signature.

Too bad I'm too lazy to change mine.

PS- BB, 10k post? U own this fuggin site or what?

it would be hard to live without the internet though.. im addicted.

Just an old man out in the woods that isn't a member of any "social networking" sites. This place appears to be all the facebook and twitter that I can handle. :red:

When I need a good laugh I just scroll to find a posting with BBs name on it. As I did this one. You can still usually learn somthing at the same time.
