Caryn's Convenience on Route 13 in Brookline, NH is selling them for $275/ton and they have several on the property in dry storage.

Yup I have some up here in Canada and they are very good quality. Better than anything I had last year. Burn very hot and very little ash. $300 a ton up here

I bought Michigan Pellets 3 years ago, and they were the worst pellets that I have used. HUGE amounts of ash! I've talked to other people who used Michigan Pellets, and they had no problem with them. I think I might have gotten a bad batch, but I won't buy them again.

I have not used them, but heard goods things about them from last year.

Im burning north country right now which is the same pellet as michigan good heat ,but lots of ash I think 275 a ton is way to much for them I paid 229 a ton,I also burned michigans last year and they burn exactly the same as these north country good heat lots of ash if you can deal with the extra ash I think there a good shoulder season pellet.

sold them this year......dont seem to be a bad pellet, but not certainly not outstanding either......they push the premium grade envelope with about .95-.95% by weight of ash, so, if one compares them to a super premium, they would appear to have twice the ash or so. They burn fine in my stove though, just have to take out the ash a bit more often

I'm burning them in my stove as we speak, and I don't see any big ash issue. Seems to be a decent pellet, but I agree w/ mnkywrnch.....that price you were quoted is HIGH for an average pellet.

What other pellets are available in your area besides these?

Burned lots of Michigan Wood Pellet Fuel LLC last year, significantly more ash than LG Granules, Energex, NEWP, and Barefoor.
Sandy Pomice type ashe even at times, depending on pallet picked from.
Seemed to burn hot enough though.

Being in MI they are plentiful here and IMO are an OK pellet. Alot of ash though with my experience. I will use them in a pinch but I prefer a soft wood pellet. More BTU and less ash for me.
