Has any one had anything to do with Venting pipe .com ,I ordered some vent pipe parts from them on the 13 and they still have not been shipped . I am startling to think that I have been scammed . I ordered the parts from them because they were way cheaper like half of what I would have paid here ,and this is supposed to be the high end pipe . It is starting to look like I am going to have to pay for two chimneys .

If you paid by credit card you can dispute the charges and get your $$$ back.

You're in Winnipeg? Expect to see the stuff around 4 weeks
from the time you ordered.

I ordered a small piece from them a few years ago and it took
forever to get here.

Thats what I was afraid of . It will be -20 and snowing and I will be up on the roof installing my chimney .

The main page says that all orders are shipped within 24hrs....delay must be the shipping between countries.

BTW, not to be a PIA, but I looked at some of the prices on pipe at that site. Eric at Kinsman Stoves in Ohio sells cheaper than that. DynamiteBuys.com was cheaper too.

Try them next time. Both good companies to buy from. I've dealt with both....no problems, and fast shipping.

Next time I will go local I would rather pay more than go threw this hassle .

If it hasn't shipped you should be able to easily get your money back.

Shipped within 24 hrs - they're full of it, like I said it took weeks for one stinkin part to get to me.

What they mean by shipped with in 24 hrs is that they registered the order with the wear house and they are looking for the parts ,or making them . It is now 10 days and there is still no tracking number
I have gotten motorcycle parts from Florida in five days . I already have the charge on my Visa bill . I guess I will just have to wait it out . as I can't afford to buy everything twice .

I'd call them and cancel it if it hasn't shipped
even if they charged your card they can retract
the charge. After that I'd also tell them to have
a peek at this thread, then after that I'd order from Eric like
Pete suggested.

Number is listed on their site.

Well here it is October 28 and I still don't have a chimney . I just finished sending them another email and they are supposed to call me .I am trying to get them to send what they have and give me a refund for the back ordered part . I can then find it else wear . I would have totally canceled the order but am afraid that I will be going threw a big hassle to get my money back . I will post later after they phone me . My original order was placed Oct 13 that is 15 days I could have drove there and picked it up ,and installed it by now .

If they don't have a tracking # for you call VISA and dispute the charges.... they will ALWAYS side with the customer and you'll get your money back!!! Don't be a doormat for an unreliable vendor.

I finally got a tracking # my chimney is with UPS at Cedar falls Indiana ,should be here Monday .I am installing it in my garage and have used the wait time to get some
temporary lighting up to code .I also had to pour an 18 inch hearth for it to sit on .And I made a guard for the glass so that it can't get broken by flying objects ,like a hammer . So the guy that said it would be four weeks I wouldn't bet against you as you are going to be pretty close .

I have done alot of shipping and mailing between the U.S. and Canada. The added time is because of 911. Customs takes a long look at all packages.

Pellet stoves dont need a chimney, just need a side exhaust out the wall, just blows out some warm air and little ash...plus it's easier to leafblow it clean!
I have a existing chimney so i went with a liner kit, otherwise i'd drill a 3" hole out the side wall.
Your dryer puts out about the same heat.

You're better off with a verticle rise on the pipe for the drafting.

I suppose it's the luck of the draw.
Last week I sent a motorcycle seat
to BC, Canada (I'm near Boston MA)
and it got to the guy in 5 business days.

Anyhoo, hope you get your pipe kit soon
and as always we look forward to pics.

I have to go straight up threw the ceiling and roof ,in order to meet the building code and get my insurance discount . My neighbors fence is to close to one wall ,and I have a pellet storage building beside the other one . It wasn't supposed to be a pellet storage building but it is turning into one . I just came home with another 20 bags .
I got Canadian Tire to beat Rona by 10% plus they gave me $11.00 Canadian tire money . I am turning into a pellet pig ,now I have to figure out where I am going to
put them in that shed . I now have 51 bags ,and the stove isn't hooked up yet .

I ordered a hearth (stove pad) for my stove on Monday last week... it's being delivered Tuesday this week... Did they give you a tracking number, like I got? They're in CA state, I'm in WA state; so figure the distance vs time vs no border crossing??

I have tracking numbers now ,and it is supposed to arrive on Nov.4 between 7:00 AM and 9:00PM . Next time my wife asks me when I will get home I will try that answer and see how it goes over . I like the way they exspect you to just sit there for 14 hours and wait for them .

They should be calling you for a narrower time. They gave me "early afternoon".
