Clean Energy Pellets at Lowes.....

Was at Lowes yesterday, and saw a couple pellet brands I never saw there before, so i grabbed a bag of each to test burn.....Marth and AWF.

The reason for this thread is, I also bought a bag of the "Clean Energy" brand that they seem to have a lot of. I noticed that the bag says "Distributed by Lowes Companies, Mooresville, NC".

I'm guessing that these are made for Lowes, and re-bagged with their Clean Energy name.

Anyone have an idea what company is making these?

BTU, are you out there?????
 
Only guess is that Lowes might have invested in a pellet company to control its own supply chain. Big box stores have a reputation of controlling their suppliers so the flow of product does not get interrupted.
 
Agree to disagree on what he's not asking if there good just if anyone knows who makes them :-S

I doubt that very much. They probably just sub-contracted a pellet mill to bag pellets for them. I really don't think Lowes would invest that much on a seasonal product. We may never know the brand name of the pellets. It would take an insider to start talking.
