Burned 2 ton last year that were year-old leftovers a buddy had Seemed OK to me, but first year burnin'. NOW I'm experienced.

I burned a ton of the green bagged Canadian softwoods last year and liked them. Burned clean and had real good heat. I would burn them again.

I'm burning the Hardwood from America. I like them a lot. I really haven't had any issues and I've tried several brands. My bag is green and white with a big eagle on it.

We are burning the softwood kind again this year. They burn good, but I do have to clean out the burn pot every couple of days. Did try couple other brands that don't leave any measurable ash in the burn pot. Good heat output. I would burn one of the other brands, but the guy I buy from is so darn reliable and puts the pellets right in my garage so I don't have to handle them until I am ready to take each bag into the house. Lesson to learn, buy from someone you can depend upon, even if it cost a few cents more. I think that part has more value than the brand of pellets.

Tried a few bags last year from a ton of the hardwoods I bought. Way too much ash and very mild heat, very dirty. Switched back to my hammers and all was well again.(Did sell rest of energex this year to a not so picky friend and bought turmans)

I burned about three tons last year of Energex and have three tons of Energex (so far--more to come) this year. I like them; they work good. I tried different brands when the stove was new but have settled on Energex.

I've burned 3/4ths of a ton so far this fall. Softwood out of Canada. Like them a lot. Very low fines, low clinker, very, very hot.

I like them a lot. Not cheap though. My Aubuchon guy actually uses his own truck to help me move them into my garage. He even helps me stack them. So yes on Energex.

We burnt 2 pallets last year, found them a bit dirty but very good heat compared to the rest, would buy them again, but as far as them saying there Softwood, i'm not sure i agree with them 100%, what do you guys think?

The place I purchased them from advertised them at 60/40 hard & soft wood blend. A tad more ash than the Spruce Pointes I was also burning. Nothing near what the ACP and Mainewoods brands produced.

I am probably not the best judge on the ash as I use a multifuel stove.

The Canadian plant has the softwood pellets I believe. The bag looks like the bag you've pictured.

The plant in Pa is hardwood pellets. They bag under two brand names, Juniata and Energex(eagle on bag). They recently added new dryer and more storage for trucked in sawdust. Almost doubling capacity. I live close to the plant, and won't burn them again. Overpriced and an inferior product, compared to other brands I've burned.
