Why does this guy make me angry?

I couldnt watch the whole thing but I think he needs to horse that saw around a little more. Maybe that tree should've hit him.

I think he makes you angry because it is important to you to do things correctly and safely and this guy is clueless and lucky to have survived what appears to be his first day out with a chainsaw.

I give up.

I don't have sound, what was the point of the video? teaching technique, showing off the power of the FB290, or what?

I give up too. I wasted minutes of my life watching the video waiting to see something happen.

I could have cut those trees faster with with my fiskars hand held "pruning shears".....thats right...pruning shears.
On a side note, was cleaning up the perimeter of some of the soccer fields and baseball fields this spring after the ice storm we had....I had my Craftsman with me with a new/non safety chain, but was a little reluctant to bust it out as all the townsfolk were using their Stihls and Husqy's...one guy had like a 60 cc saw, and couldn't even make it through a limb cause all their chains were so dull....so, I busted out my 42cc Craftshog, and ripped through all the logs and limbs...they were all scratching thier heads cause mine cut so well, and their $350-500 saws did not.....thanks to folks here I felt like a big boy that day :cheese:

yeah, that complex chainsaw in the hands of that simple douche reminds me of this picture I just got in a FWD email today....

and if that video from that kid made you angry then don't watch any of his other videos, especially not this one where he tries to use a zero-turn radius grasshopper, but somehow manages to go too slow where he should be able to drive smoothly through some tight corners, and then race across so fast on some straight flat stuff that he doesn't cut the grass well and then he has to make another 10 trips across it to make it look right.

That video didn't make me angry at all...quite the opposite. It made me very happy. I'm happy I'm not him. I'm happy it wasn't my saw he was using. I'm happy they weren't my trees he was butchering. I'm happy I'm not responsible for his behavior. The guy's a doofus. Rick

He uses the chainsaw like a sharp crowbar! I would imagine its not his.

My guess is that is day one with his "fancy new saw" Why else would you video that mess?

I couldn't stand to watch very much. When he started I laughed because I know someone who cuts like he does but at least his chain is a little sharper. He was always jerking the saw; thought that was the right way.

Then I watched him with a skill saw. He could not leave that saw alone and just cut! He kept raising and lowering the rear of the saw like he was trying to saw instead of letting the saw just do its thing. Nuts.

Who would have ever guessed that someone might post a video on Youtube
of a young fella who has the confidence to use a chainsaw, but certainly
no proper technique.
We should find him and do something really mean to him.

That saw can't be new to have a chain that dull on it. Maybe he was cutting tile or bricks with it earlier in the day. Wait, I don't think he even has a chain on his saw. He had to have been just using the bar to cut those little trees. That video was actually a little funny to me. Check out his other videos, 10 minutes of nothing but slideshow pictures of him.

No offense to anyone that might now this feller, or be that feller by chance, but what a dumb a**. That feller is most certianly no feller I'd want felling around me.
