Can someone please ID this wood

My buddy let me cut this off his land and said it's ash. I was really not sure, but its some nice wood for next years burning season

filled my truck and still got more of the tree to cut. I hear it don't take long to dry.
 
No doubt about what that wood is. White ash all the way. I cut almost 9 cords of that last winter. Will be cutting more soon.
 
SW of you. If you are familiar with the area we are 7 miles SW of Brant, 10 miles W of Chesaning and 5 miles SE of Marion Springs. How about you?
 
Sounds like you must be somewhere around Imlay City.
 
kingfisher, perhaps we could meet next year if you go to the Woods & Waters show. We were there this year for the first time since about 1989 or 1990. It has grown a lot! Still a long drive over there.
