Hope this is a good spot to post this.

I have an avalon Pendelton stove purchased in 2006 that I need to sell, I just don't know how to price it.
It's black on legs with the vent piping inside and out, a small tool set and the wood/tile peice you put on the floor to protect the floor.

Any help would be great
Thanks
Gabe

Mellow thanks for the reply. Yes it is in very nice condition not used as much, I think even the glass in the front is still clean. I did find it new for $1600 so I guess with all the extra's its coming with 800 range is good.

As someone who has been looking on CL and stuff, I can say that if your (high quality and well respected brand) stove is that new and in such great shape, people will be comparing it to what they could get new (with the tax refund), and you really can't get near any of the desirable models (dealer brands) for under $1000. I was looking at a Lopi Revere on CL a couple weeks ago (a bit bigger stove than what you have) for $1000 and I was pretty seriously interested even though that's high (for my pocket) because they go for $2700 around here new! When I called it was already sold, and they probably didn't have any trouble getting their asking price either.

A 2003 Avalon Pendleton just came up on our local CL for $325, it sold within a day. I would have bought it, but they're too small for my needs.

I think you could get more out of it starting price with everything that is included should be around $1500.00.

many thanks

Looks like a good starting point to me, might help to just have a one liner in there to say that they value of a new stove would be around X and the value of all the extras would be around Y so they are getting the whole setup for far less.
