Think safety chaps are to uncomfortable or too hot?

I don't think the video would cause me to think about kevlar chaps in a different way than I have in the past. My wife wants me in a full suit of armor before I hit the woods. I probably will get chaps. I had one small mishap years ago. Nicked my knee. Never even felt it, but I felt the blood running down my leg.
It would have helped if they mentioned the number of saw related accidents every year. If he did, I missed it. I suppose that info could be found on the web somewhere.
Curiously, I don't see any kind of chaps in your list of tools. Perhaps they should be.

Tried the no pants under the chaps thingy, but as i don't wear underpants, it was quite scary what was exposed at that point :ahhh:
A) Too much information!
B) Love them - they keep brush, etc from tearing my jeans and besides, after one little nick it was an easy decision. Working in the snow it keeps the pants drier too.
