I have an englander 30 and am running the single walled pipe straight up thru the ceiling. I have measured the length and even cut a little short. I cannot seem to squeeze the pipe between the ceiling and the stove. What is the trick?

a telescoping pipe section makes life very easy.

The top fitting should be a "slip pipe"..It enables you to slip the pipe up and down..

I found that the stove pipe adapter (the piece that connects to the Class A chimney) had about 4 inches of pipe that slipped into the top piece of stove pipe. The top of the stove also had a little extra play. Between those two I was able to squeeze it in, but I also had 2 elbows to help me maneuver...

Did you say single wall through the ceiling!

Hopefully not "through the ceiling."

Thanks for the tip on the slip oollar. I went to farm and home and picked one up. It did the trick. Thanks for all the help. I have a fire going now.
