Any last minute words of advice before we take the plunge?

Hmm not sure I've seen Yuengling. How about some Wachusett IPA? This pellet stove stuff is getting more costly by the minute! lol

The way the stove will angle means the pipe out the back can't just go straight into/through the wall to the outside. Guy said the installers will probably add the T and then rotate it in order to get the angle needed to run the pipe out. Not sure if that makes anymore sense macman or if I'm if you already figured that part out and still dont see a need for it. Which could be the case..I think I'm getting confused about it now too.

How does the stove pipe usually run to get through a wall in this situation?

Oops, I meant they wrote up the bill in the store for 4' pipe. The installers haven't come to the house yet to check out the area. They are scheduled to visit Jan 5th and do the actual install Jan 13th

What's wrong w/ the chain drive? thats what I have...something I should know about?

fwiw, I bought last year ('08), and was delivered a stove w/ a build date of '06, so it was sitting around in some warehouse for a while. It hasn't presented any problem. Stove has run flawlessly for just over a year, now.

I don't know anything specifically about chain drive other than those youtube videos of chain popping/malfunctioning. My thinking was more having read about igniter issues and various things I'm hoping that any design problems that showed up in the mad rush to build stoves may have been worked out by the 2009 models. That's why I was pushing for a 2009 made stove. I'm no expert though.


Also, talked to stove shop again, they said they only added the inside T part as 'just in case' installer needed it. I told them I think the corner install will be okay w/out it. We will see when they get here. Tx macman.

I bought 3 bags of Barefoots and 1 bag of O'Malleys today........en route to pellet piglet ;-)

(Still searching for Yuengling).
