I fired my boiler on 9/12, burned 135 bags to date for heat and DHW.

About 1.75 tons so far...still a long way to go til spring.

About 1.75 ton for me. Been a couple long cold stretches this year, and the pellet stove is my only heat source in my home.

60 bags so far here. the mild weather has helped slow down our usage. i hope to have some leftovers for next year. we'll see how jan & feb shape up.

Eastern WA had some cold weather down in the single digits a couple of weeks ago, but now just gets down in the teens. I'm at 7/8 of a ton will have to go pick up anther 25 bags pretty soon. those twentyfive sacks unloaded and packed down to the basement and stacked usder the stairwell does it for me for a day, I'm pooped after that. I poured the basement walls using ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms) the walls are like 12-1/2" thick and it stays nice'n'toasty once warmed up. I'm trying finish out the basement as we speak, gotta shut off this time wastein' computer though. bjr23

1.5 tons to date. I just opened the last bag of that stack. I had 6 tons delivered to cover this season. Now the best part, folks, is that my wife stacked all of it while I was at work one day. I came home planning to do it, and it was done. I LOVE this woman!

About 1.5 ton. Bi-weekly cleaning of stove. Today did a complete clean including motors, esp prope and vent piping with Lint Eater, but no leaf blower.

Just 1 ton so far but winter really isn't here yet. Hoping to get through with 2 more tons.

It was 56 here on Sunday and I did a full cleaning including stove pipe. Had burned about 1.25 tons so far and was waiting for a warm day to get up on the roof and do a cleaning. Pipe really didn't need it but I did it anyway since it was so nice out and I know I'd be set for the rest of the season. Every three days I vacuum out the inside of the stove and weekly heat exchanger cleaning. The stove always runs better when clean! It's like taking the car to the car wash..for some odd reason it always runs better when clean!

I just did a complete cleaning included taking both motors off and cleaning both. I also cleaned pellet hopper and the stove pipe should be good to go till next ton. Amazing how much dust was on on the motors. Letting stove run on high so I can reset the flame ht. if needed.

just a little over 2 tons. Ordered 2 more tons yesterday.

about 40 bags...... have been burning a a bag a day last 2 weeks before that almost 2 days on 1 bag

WOW Really Jealous here... I've burned over 2 tons this year and my house is always freezing! Just had new windows and siding put on over the summer but that didn't help much. I'd love to know what the secret is? I guess I'm switching back to oil seeing that I'm burning as much or more $$$ than it would cost to run the boiler. =0(

Burned about 1.4 tons since heating season began. A ton of Premier, a combo of "test" bags of 5 different pellets (Marth, AWF, Clean Energy, Pres To Logs, and GreenWay), and now am working on the CleanFires from PelletSales.com.

Which reminds me...time to shut the stove down, remove & clean the blowers, clean the stove, and run the LintEater up the exhaust pipe before the REAL Jan.- Feb. cold gets here.

30 bags so far for me.
I do run my oil burner at night for keeping the bedrooms warm.

Slightly over half a ton... I was gone for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, so that's 6 days of burning that never happened.

2 tons so far. Soft wood pellets in a Harmon stove. This is our primary heat with propane, secondary due to my Quadra fire being down. Cold winter in Nevada so far.

Just over 1.5 tons. Still have 2.5 tons left in the garage. Will be turning the stove off for a couple of weeks as I have to go away on a business trip and won't be around to feed the beast. Hate the thought of burning oil but not much choice.

Just hit the 1 ton mark this morning.
Frigid 13 °F with high winds outside, nice and toasty 72 °F inside

just about to 2 ton mark. probably like 1.75 at the moment. been keeping the house extra warm cause my wife and i just had our first child! but other then that the stove has been firing perfectly(watching the 5 holes near the tube but the firs is never too close to my tube) and we couldnt be happier. i got 1.3 tons of Okanagans to go next. be my first time with the okies and then if i like them i am going to bjs to buy another ton. will need one more to get through anyways.

Started burning Friday, November 13 (hey, isn't that when Felix Unger got kicked out?)
Doing pretty well, had the stove on most of the time heating a big house and I am only finishing my first ton (4 bags to go).
Definitely been using more pellets the last 3 weeks though with the cold weather. But my wife worked a few days at home last week and messed with my average. She just goes over to the thermostat for the oil burner and cranks it up to 68! I instantly thought of that scene from Jaws where Quint walks up to the radio and smashes it.
