I purchased this stove off craigslist for 40$.....yea I know I am still laughing at the idiot that sold it!!!!!

After fixing a fuse and replacing the rope seal around the door the only issue I have it that the door gets all smoked up after several days of operation.
Question:

1. Is this caused by not replacing the door rope seal correctly?
2. Or is this normal?

Thanks a million

Normal...Looks like a good burn after several days....Great buy too...Enjoy!

every stove's glass will get dirty, if its black you need to give it more air and or clean the stove

yours looks like a god burn, nothing wrong there

i clean my glass with ceramic glasstop cleaner from sears and i wipe the ash off when i vac the stove evry 4-5 days with a paint brush

Not to hi-jack the thread but I did notice your avatar...
Are you a Ken "Fetus" Curtis fan?
If so, have you ever heard him sing?
Just found that one out last week on Youtube...amazing singer

Yesw I am....and I did know he has a great voice...I'm a big fan of Old Country....and Pellet burning too!!

Just a wet paper towel is all you need to get the pellet dust off. No sense putting any chemical residues on the glass that will burn on to it.
