Happy New Year's to you all!

My bf and I are very happy with our insert. We are still in the experimental stages. So far we figured out damper settings, our dirty window problem and moving the heat around and upstairs. So far we've burned Inferno (crap), Okanagan (excellent heat), Cubex (not bad) and now we're trying Barefoot. We're also combining pellets as well. Finally got the downstairs to a toasty 78, and man it is warm. I can't over how the heat feels so different. It's like it goes right through you and heats you to your bones. I love it. I wanted to add updated and clearer pics than my first ones. Take care!

Nice job !! It's 14* and windy here and I've been cold all day at work. Hot shower, some grub and I'm gonna let some Marth Pellet heat sink into these bones ! Great ain't it !!!

Nice pictures and nice install.

Please let us know how you compare the Barefoot to the Okanagan pellets.

Have been trying a few bags of each and both are excellent. Will be hard to choose which is better for next season.

Looks great Seleus. Like the old ranger said, keep us updated on your impressions between the Oakies & the Barefoot pellets.

Thanks everyone!
Well so far used the Barefoot- and from what I read here and our experience is that it does burn faster. We had to adjust the feed. It does produce more ash than the Oakies but the heat output feels the same aka Crazy Hot! lol. We mixed Cubex and Okies and so far that has been pretty good for us. I think I prefer the Oakies because the heat output is the best of the 3 and we dont use as many bags as oppose to the Barefoot. If you have the extra dinero, than by all means get the Barefoot. We're going to start mixing those in and see how that goes.

You started talking about how good the oakies were....BTU was getting "excited". ;-P

In all fairness, the barefoots are a smaller pellet due to the die size, and you should set your feed rate down a notch as they will naturally feed more into your pot- the advantage is there is more surface area to burn and they wont jam (dont quote me). I still need to try the Oaks-
