I made a wood furnace and installed it in my attached garage. The furnace burns nice. I fed the supply through the band board on my house and tried to tie into the return air. This worked but not very efficiently, it takes a huge fire to stay decent, and it eats the wood. Can anyone advise me on how to supply my registers. Or let me know if I am wasting my time trying to do this. Can I chang it to the supply in existing furnace or am I trying to move my air to far. Someone please help. thanks

If you post some pictures it will help with any advice people might offer. I would be interested in seeing your creation. I have a hotblast, not the most efficient by far but I'm heating 3,700 sq ft with it through a 60' main trunk of ducting and don't need much of a fire because of how I have it ducted in series with my existing furnace. I have a thread on here with pictures if you do a search for Hotblast 1557 “Build” Thread.
Edit: Actually it's here: https://www.hearth.com/econtent/index.php/forums/viewthread/24925/
