In lieu of boxing an external pipe due to poor draft, are there any external insulation products that can be used on this pipe to reduce heat losses and drafting problems?

Insulation is NOT to touch the outside of the pipe, ever. Short of using an insulated liner inside, boxing or chasing is probably your only option. Is it air cooled or insulated?
If you have singlewall pipe between it and the stove, you could replace it with doublewall.
If you have singlewall pipe between it and the stove, you could replace it with doublewall.
Not sure what you mean by air cooled or insulated. It is a Duratech double wall, so insulated internally and air cooled externally to ambient.
