Fly ash - problem. Large fly ash flying up out of burn box when pellets drop in. More when pellets burn down and are red. I am getting alot around the burn box area, about a quart in 24 hours. One cup in ash pan. Tried to adjust damper and combustion fan trim. May be fighting 2 problems. 1. It is plumbed into an existing chimmey with a lot of draft and draft changes depending on weather conditions. Should I restrict the top of my chimmey some? It is 6" diameter. Or? 2. Or am I just fighting not so good pellets?

Are you sure your getting more flyash than your supposed to? From what I remember, those whitfields would create some. Maybe another whitfield owner can chime in.
