what kind of noise is it? a grinding, buzzing, rattling, rumbling or vibrating? Where does it seem to be coming from? How old is the stove? Has it been cleaned recently?

This squealing comes from the auger when it turns, ya? or from the blower?

We just had that problem and it had gotten to point where chain came off the sprocket. If you take off the back cover you will see the assembly it looks kind of like a bike chain. Check and make sure those are lined up, adjust if needed. Ours was quite out of alinement. Also there was a bearing that I sprayed with WD40. So far so good, hope this helps.

If the noise has just started recently, it could be the bushings on the auger are worn. Many mfgrs will use a brass bushing on the top and bottom of the auger. The brass is soft and wears over time. This puts the auger out of alignment and may cause it to bind on the side of the auger chute, giving a squeeling noise. Check the auger housing for signs of wear from contact with the auger.
It may also be the bushings themselves. Sometimes they get plugged up with fines and compact between the top (or bottom) of the auger and the bushing, causing the squeel. I suggest cleaning the auger and bushings as best you can and look for signs of wear on the bushings.
The advice given above sounds good too. If what I said makes no sense for your stove, then do that.
