I would Hemi, But still no room yet. I been doing to much testing this year. I got 25 bags stashed at a friends, I still need to find room for. When I get some room maybe I will buy some liggies off of you(to help you get rid of them).

I sure hope these sales make it into the spring. So I can refill my stash.

And I thought prices here in NY were bad...........

Sale prices are on the home page. Price page doesn't reflect the sale. Believe it or not. They have about the best prices near me besides the big box stores. I got to travel better than 60 miles to see any cheaper prices.

You want to see high check here:

Hey were all rich in Ct you know. :p

OK, I see the Rocky's on sale ($270), but not the Barefoots.

STILL think you rich people are paying too much, even for that sale on the Rocky's.

That's why I have to test pellets so much. I need to find the "magic" pellet thats hot but CHEAP! You all though I was doing it for fun didn't ya. Its a must for us CT poor guys. I have to be picky and cheap. I can't afford to miss buy anything in CT. Put you in the poor house real quick.

I can get Rockies for $249/ton, But for that price I would rather pick up some Marths, Lignetics, AWF or Okies(if I travel). There's a few more but I wont list them all(I need to make sure them other piggies save some for me)!

I see that wood pellet co. is 30.00 dollars cheaper I used them before and had no problems with them except to find dealers that carried them. They come from a sawmill in PA. and is hard to get them most of the time during the winter months. I stopped down today and grabed me some.

TSC in barkamsted had some. Not sure but I think they still have some stacked outback. Hard to get them to give you what they want. They go for the first available skid. Which is usually Mainewoods or Maine Choice.

Maybe you could do a review of them and post the results.....I don't remember seeing anything about these pellets before.

Jay, are you listening? LOL

There is a hardware store in canton that is supposed to have the real deal! So far I have been to 3 places that supposidly had the real deal. All they really have is the blend! Look before you toss them the cash. One idiot gave me a hard time about a refund!

I went to BT today and they had many brands ranging from $240- $270 and yes there were some at $290 but I am guessing freight and when they were purchased may make a difference. They had Hamer Hot ones for $270. I thought that was a good price and Wood Pellet Co for $240 is a great deal around here. I always hear they are good people to deal with.

They have always treated me fair and square. I haven't had a bad ton yet. He even tossed me some free pellets to try out for my test.(the Lake Regions were freebies)

did you try the Lake Regions because one of my co workers swears sy Spruce pointe and we did try a couple bags of the Okanagan and liked them

Spruce Pointes are very dependable. They have been same quality every year for 3 years now. I expect the Okies to be the same way. Anything made by flooring companys are similar. The make there own fiber and its the same year in and year out. Cubex, Northern, and Wood Pellet co. Are in this flooring group. So is Turman(not available at BT though). Oak is the hotest burning hardwood I have found. All the softwoods burn hot too!

Jay
Thanks for the info. That must be why the Hamers burn so hot. I talked to the lady at BT and she said they were mostly oak and gave me their website. I checked it out and read that Hamers from the Elkin plant were mostly oak which is where they buy from and the other plant is just mixed hardwoods. I will have to go back to BT $270 is not bad with the heat they produce. Again thanks for sharing your findings it is most helpful.

Do you know where I can get Turman around here to try out ? The only website I find it on is CT pellet but the website does not appear to have changed since the spring sale. Are they still aound. I emailed them a couple of times and never received a response.
