installed new chimney cap

My question is does this one look to restricted? i'm going crazy makin sure everything is done right for the blaze king.

If your wood is good you should have no probs from what I can see.Keep an eye on it during the shoulder seasons when you burn slow and low.
 
Mine looked exactly like then in the beginning, had to remove every other row going down as mine would plug up at least 3 times a season.... :(
 
I'd take a nibbler or dremel to it and cut out 2/3rds of the horizontals if it showed any sign of clogging.
 
ID cut out all the 'mesh' as long as there is something left to keep the cap together. Both of my caps have it removed. Does not matter how good your wood is, you will always get more or less build up on that metal.
 
Is there a different cap i should get that might better?
