I like the toys too, just need to repaint the tractor to go with the trailer. Can you pick the front of the trailer up to dump it?

Looks like that ash also had a rotten spot. Usually one finds those full of carpenter ants.

Thanks for the comments. Dad built the trailer nearly 30 years ago out of materials he had on hand to haul a wheel horse lawn mower around. The rear of the trailer has angle iron to hold a set of ramps. The frame is 3/8"x3" angle iron, the cross members are 1/2"x3" angle iron. The fenders are made from the end of an old tank and the floor is made of WWII steel runway mats. The biggest drawback is that the antique truck axle is welded to the frame (don't want to hit a pothole at highway speed :ahhh: ). The trailer is tongue heavy, it's made of 3 thick wall pipes inside each other. Takes 2 of us to pick it up and hold it. Last fall it was a family project, my wife, 2 sons and I took it apart, replaced all the wood, painted it, replaced the lights/wiring and put new 31x10.5 15 tires on the wheels. Got a new jack stand to weld on, but I had to move my 220 outlet and need to get an extension cord for the welder.
The tractor is a 790 but my wife calls it the other woman.
Where we are working is in an old shelter belt in the bottom of a waterway. I shoved all the compost, fallen branches and dead vegetation out of the way with the loader. It has been a dry winter so the ground has dried up enough we can get to the fallen trees now. It got up to almost 60 that day and the ground was starting to get mushy. Going to try and get the rest of them this weekend.
