I was leaning toward a lopi republic/endeavor ,after doing some research I think I am going to go with a cast iron stove with a cat system . I have been looking at blaze king are there any other stoves that can come pair.

The only two types of cat stoves I would buy new @ this time are PLATE STEEL by Buck, BK, Countryflame etc.. or SOAPSTONE by Woodstock. My 2 cents.

Everyone here is very happy with their Blaze King's. How much space are you looking to heat?

A FV would work well for you, with that modest a heating requirement. Its a nice stove, 10-12 hr burns on low.

No one on hearth.com this year is allowed to buy any other wood stove than a Blaze King. Of course next year it will be something else. But it ain't cast iron. It is a steel stove. Which if I haven't said it before, steel stoves rule!

But for the space you are heating take a serious look at the Woodstock Fireview. The other stove of the moment on the Forum. Lots of happy Fireview owners here.

For 1100 sq ft the BK Princess would work but may be a little large unless your insulation isn't so good. But you don't always have to fill it full and cat stoves can be turned down low and burned clean. Another great fit would be a Woodstock.

wood stock is a little out of my price range

Then the Blaze King is probably out of your price range too.

Do they sell wood stock stoves in stores ? would you prefer a wood stock over a lopi or a bk

Woodstock's not sold in stores. www.woodstove.com

Blaze King costs just as much or more but they are larger stoves. Lopi is up there in price as well.

Blaze King Princess....just go for it and be happy and warm...for a LONG TIME!!!

go for the bk. proably with 1100 sq ft. you could get some really super long burns on low and it wont kill ya with the heat.
