Pictures please of free standing stove setup

Where the gas insert is is where I put the EQ. I used the existing chase. Yes, I did remove the wall.

I store logs in the fireplace that is in the back left of the pic. I grill in that fireplace during the winter, also.

But I think the area around it would be exactly the same if the walls weren't there. I keep a couple pieces of wood next to the stove, and the rest outside. The poker is a set of fireplace tools next to the side door on the stove, and the kindling is in a big plastic flower pot on the other side. Wife is big on not having clutter.
 
Thanks, no thats really cool. I think i was being too picky at first.

and wow, that is one clean looking room! our wood area is always a little messy.
