A 1500 watt electric plug in heater is about 5400 BTUs.......
Wood is also rated in watts over there.
For instance, the Tarm Model solo 30 would be 30KW max. or about 110,000 BTU (very roughly).
1 kW is 3413 BTUs.

It's not so much that such a stove exists, it's the thought that somewhere is a room it goes with it, that bothers me.
